SUNDAY 16th AUGUST:
The service this week is a Family Service at Little Brickhill at 11.00am
Were delighted that we will have the first service here in Little Brickhill since 1st March, 5 months ago. This will be a Family Service and we do hope that lots of families from the village and the other parishes across the benefice will want to come and join us. Were planning to offer something for people of all ages.
Obviously, due to the current extraordinary circumstances and government regulations, weve had to make special arrangements to safeguard everyones health. Weve reorganised the church to ensure appropriate distancing between family groups; anyone over the age of 11 will need to wear a face covering while inside the church and hand sanitizer, wipes and disposable gloves will be available for your use. Well be asking you to leave your contact details, which well keep for 21 days.
Sadly, due to Church of England regulations, we wont be able to sing, but were very pleased that Jerry Breslin will be with us to play the organ.
Weather permitting, outside in the churchyard well be offering hot and cold drinks and a chance to stay and have a chat following the service.
We understand that some people dont yet feel ready to come back to church services, but were very much looking forward to welcoming everyone who would like to come and join us.
SUNDAY 9th AUGUST:
Holy Communion Sevice at 11.00am at Great Brickhill, Holy Communion at 11.00am.
Tere will be no problem with the numbers attending but certain things will be a little different from normal. Due to the restrictions there will be no singing but Jerry Breslin will be playing the organ at various points throughout the service. Hand sanitizing will be required on entry to the church and seating will be in accordance with social distancing rules. Masks are a mandatory requirement and we will be asking for contact details of all those attending, which we have to keep for 21 days.
SUNDAY 2nd AUGUST:
The first service since the lock down is a Holy Communion Service at Stoke Hammond at 11.00am.
Due to the social distancing rules there is a restriction on numbers, only 20 can attend. Anyone wishing to go to the service should check with Diane Webber to see if there are spaces as it is first come first served:- 01525 270409 dianejwebber@gmail.com

Live Services in Churches across the Benefice from 2nd August
Further to the Prime Ministers announcement that places of worship may re-open for worship from 4th July, it has been agreed that live services across the Benefice will resume in August. There will also be virtual services to cater for those who do not yet feel able to venture out to church.
With regard to live services there will be one service per day at one of the churches on the first four Sundays in August at 11.00am. Although there cannot be any singing, the organ will be played at various points. We are aware that there are many who have been shielding or in vulnerable groups who do not yet feel comfortable in going to public places. By the middle of August, we will have more of an idea as to what people might like and will be in a position to plan for services in September and beyond.
