SAFEGUARDING POLICY:

The Child Protection Policy has been updated to reflect the changes to legislation with regard to things such as DBS checks (formerly CRB checks).

Annual Safeguarding Report to the PCC:-

The annual safeguarding report was considered by the PCC on 9th November 2021.  There were no safeguarding incidents or issues reported in the last twelve months.

The Diocesan Safeguarding Advisors are experienced safeguarding professionals who offer safeguarding advice and support to parishes. All safeguarding concerns or allegations received by a parish are referred to the Diocesan Safeguarding team.

For urgent safeguarding enquiries outside of operational hours, you are now able to contact the Diocesan partners Thirtyone:eight (formerly Churches Child Protection Advisory Service [CCPAS]). They can be contacted on 0303 003 1111 for confidential safeguarding advice, guidance and support.

CHILD PROTECTION POLICY (now replaced with the above):

Following a change to the CRB Registered Umbrella Body that the Parish will use in the future, the Policy Statement was revised in January 2011.

The Great Brickhill PCC reviewed the Child Protection Policy Statement for the Parish at their meeting on 29th May 2012.
